Captain Picard, I'm not.
I just played a multiplayer Cataclysm game with Guinness, HighLearn, Suraklin, and Thunderwolf. I played the single player game for a while, but this was my first challenge against non artificial intelligence...I got stepped on appropriately. I didn't even get the satisfaction of scuttling my fleet before being defeated.
The weekend has been great...despite a minor mishap at the Canadian border when I lost HighLearn and Guinness, everything has gone pretty smoothly. We've been playing LAN games and cracking each other up while battling heavy eyelids.
This is strange typing up a journal entry with almost everyone who reads it in the same room...it's so easy to hide behind the anonymity of the internet that sometimes it slips through thought that the people I interact with online are in fact real people, and with time become real friends.
