I started Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle. I'm almost finished...it's a quick read. Vonnegut's humor and disguised philosophical viewpoints refuel my optimism. His writing makes me re-evaluate the insignificant and material issues that impose with the facade of importance. I recommend Breakfast of Champions and Slaughterhouse Five to everyone I know who is even just mildy fond of reading. Some people get it and some people don't.
