I'm going to glutton when I get off work in an hour.
Food. Tim Burton. Danny Elfman. Jack Skellington. It's a perfectly painted portrait of an ideal agenda. It's raining so my expectations can't be too high.
The weekend was excellent. On Friday I got a haircut and went to the eye doctor to get more contact lenses. I drove to Robinson and went to Charley's (my ex-stepdad) to spend the evening. He helped wax my truck while we drank beer and ate hot wings. Since I only slept for two hours on Friday morning after work, I fell asleep at 9pm while watching the Siege.
Bright and early on Saturday morning we went to two auctions, but didn't see anything worthwhile. I left and tried to catch my friend Tom...he wasn't home so I stopped by Damon's. He mentioned that his parents had a lot of books left over from their yard sale, so I talked to them for a while and loaded up on paperbacks. I even found two Vonnegut's that I haven't read =)
I picked some out for my sister and took them to her. She is seven months pregnant and I knew she would appreciate some boredomkill.
Damon and I went to a bonfire party that his co-workers were having. Everyone was really cool. I rarely "try" to meet women, but I gave myself a pep talk and decided to be a bit more assertive. I sparked conversations with four or five women...who would then proceed to introduce me to their husbands. They were fun to talk to though so I had a good time regardless.
I spent Sunday watching football and hanging out with my family. I got back to Terre Haute in time to watch the X-files and take a nap before work.
I'm addicted to e-bay. I curse when someone outbids me. I find great joy in outbidding others. Ebay ebay ebay ebay ebay. Um, er, uh...ebay.
