Oct. 25th, 2000 06:52 amWow, my stomach is growling rather loudly. I'll grab a bite when I'm off work in an hour.
I picked up an old Jeffrey Deaver novel yesterday. It's called Shallow Graves and it seems to be decent so far. Last week I read The Devil's Teardop by Deaver and Grisham's The Brethren. I'm running an experiment that involves the elimination of cable television from my daily diet. Why?...I dunno, I feel like I am completely wasting time when I watch mindless crap, so I'm finding more "involving" things to do. I won't stop watching cinema or the occasional sporting event though.
I watched Evil Dead 2 this morning before I started my book. The beginning is BORKED. They invented a new beginning where Ash and his girlfriend go to the cabin, and then intertwined the ending of the first movie back into it. BORKED. The rest of the movie gored along pretty okay. I had no idea that Sam Raimi was involved in so many movies other than the Evil Dead series. Gotta love imdb.com.
Cripes...work calls.
