The sun is coming up, but the thick fog is still obscuring the sky. I'm in Indianapolis.

I fell asleep at nine o'clock last night on Danny and Carolyn's couch, and have been wide awake since four a.m. Danny was just going to bed when I woke up. I ventured to white castle to grab some breakfast since that is the only restaurant nearby that's an all-nighter. Blech. =P

Taxi Driver just ended, and after it finishes rewinding I'll put in Sling Blade for background noise while I'm writing and catching up on forums. I reckon so, uh-huh.

I only had two Corona's last night while we were grilling steaks and hanging out. I'm making an effort to salvage my liver and remaining brain cells since it is too easy to drink all night on a Friday or Saturday night. I also didn't want to be a hungover mess while spending time with my mom today. I despise my bad habits and poor willpower...and so it goes.

I haven't talked to Betsy in over a week. I have left a few messages on her answering machine and she has left a message on my voicemail, but it would be nice to have an actual conversation or *gasp* physical interaction. I ran into an old friend of my sister's on Friday night...she recognized me and approached me. I wanted to ask her out but I didn't. Maybe I'll see her again or maybe not. Nothing's shocking.

Carolyn is buying me a tattoo for my birthday present. I found the image that I want...

...or the rebel alliance icon from Star Wars. STAR WARS GEEK! =) I'm getting the tat as soon as she can afford it...I told her she didn't have to pay for all of it, but she insists.

I just installed an irc program on Danny's computer, but everybody in #talon is asleep or afk...

I think I'll go take a shower.

Tattoos are great and ultimately addicting. Last year, when I got my first, I wanted a Star Wars tattoo, same one as you. The Rebel symbol. Dunno why I changed my mind, but I ended up getting a dolphin holding a violet. Which is symbolic of me in my own way... but I am still bound and determined to get a SW one! So I'm still thinking: Rebel Symbol, or lightsaber, or ya know what would be really cool? Boba Fett has a symbol on his armor on one bicep, looks like a skull of some kind. Wouldn't it be cool to get a tat of that same thing in the same place? It's been done before, but it's one of the things that only big-time SW fanatics would recognize.

If you liked Shawshank, you would LOVE this book. I read it at least once a year; very uplifing.

Getting a tattoo shouldnt be that expensive, i know at the tattoo/piercing shop where i've gotten all my piercings done so far its only $35 for a small one (if it takes less than a half hour, then $60 an hour after that... it all depends on the size and the ammount of detail you want...

Personally I've been thinking about either getting a tattoo or getting a scarification done.... most likely a tatoo of a a fleur de li or a compass rose, along my spine...

not that the pain should bother me... especiially after getting an apadravya.... oh forgot whatelse i was gonna say....
