Mar. 14th, 2010 01:53 amIt's nice to know that I'm not the only metal-nerd on the planet that gets off on this type of stuff: http://www.hypergeek.ca/2008/07/when-great-comics-and-great-music.html/comment-page-1#comment-5730
I mentioned this lyric connection in a LJ post on July 24, 2008, and apparently he discovered it just a couple of weeks before I did. He's the one other guy on the planet who would have given a rat's ass.
I just dl'd the Arkham Asylum pc game from Steam...they're having a special bundle of Just Cause and Arkham Asylum for $22.00. I've never heard of Just Cause, but it's cheaper to buy both games than to just buy Arkham Asylum. Windows Live account required to play. Fucking yay.
I had to sell our tickets at the last minute for the Megadeth/Testament/Exodus show in Indy on Thursday. Damon was extremely ill with a fever and had to back out. Disappointing, but he was really sick and I didn't feel like making the round trip to Indy alone after a long day at the Indiana University campus. I spent the day attending a disaster recovery/business continuity meeting and touring their new data center, which was simply amazing due to its scale. Our data center and supporting infrastructure aren't one-tenth the size of theirs. I left my batteries in the wall-charger and took an empty camera along to carry around uselessly for the day.

Date: 2010-03-17 08:36 pm (UTC)I can't tell you how many times I have left my batteries/memory card somewhere other than with me. The best time was my last trip to the UK, when we were going to explore the Western coast for three days. I opened the camera to discover I had left the card back at his parents' house. So, we had to stop off and buy one real quick. sigh.
So, you digging the HoF?
And...
