grindmonkehI've finally conjured enough ambition to record my current endeavors and such and so forth and so on, etc., et. al.
I had a nice trip to Detroit and Canada last weekend. I had to retrieve the things from my recently departed truck that I totalled the last time I was there, and it made for a nice opportunity to visit my friends Thunderwolf (Oki) and Scout-Sniper (Bob). I arrived at the salvage yard to get my stuff on Friday afternoon and found that the bastards had helped themselves to my speakers and the contents of my truck box. My insurance is going to compensate for the lost items and reimburse me for my travel expenses so...bad day, fuck it.
Oki and his roommate had a party Friday night. I don't know who was more obliterated between the two of us, or any of us for that matter. Though I didn't know anyone there I met a few people and had a pretty good time. I was hurting badly on Saturday morning from all the Crown Royal I poisoned myself with the night before, so I had to pick my ass up off the floor and head to Canada with a miserable hangover. After eating his wife's unworldly stuffed peppers, Bob and I were up all night playing counter-strike and Diablo II. I slept for an hour before driving back here and working all night. My round trip was over 950 miles.
By Monday morning I felt like the living dead. I've been catching up on my sleep all week. I played a round of golf on Tuesday and spent Wednesday evening with Betsy. I skipped a doctor's appointment yesterday because I didn't feel like wasting my time.
While driving through Toledo, Ohio I began thinking of Mandy since that's where we last met. I thought about her quite a bit actually, being on the road for hours at a time makes you think differently...at least I think so. Anyhow, when I checked my e-mail upon returning there was surprisingly an apology letter from Mandy. I mailed her was well, and hopefully we will begin corresponding again.
I've got to work this Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm, so my weekend plans have been blown out of the water. *Kadamn!!!!*
