May. 31st, 2000 05:35 amI jogged a mile and a half today...it felt great burning off nervous energy, enjoying the scenery, and sweating. Nothing makes you appreciate a shower more than a long exhausting run that leaves your clothes clinging to your body from the sweat. Another subtle therapy regulated by motivation that I should practice more often...
I wrote a song today too...I need to get some type of recorder so I can lift my ideas from paper and develop them into structured noise pollution. I can't sing and play at the same time and that's a bit impairing. I don't sing that well either, but that's not too imperative...take Neil Young or Tom Petty for example, they don't have great voices but create great music nonetheless. It's worthwhile as long as I'm entertaining myself...
Went to my sister's for supper and watched Los Angeles and Portland duke it out in the NBA semi-finals. Stacey (my sister) read a book and Jessie (her roomie) studied...more fun than a barrel of monkeys I say. I'm highly capable of thoroughly entertaining myself...it's a blessing.
