I expect ignorant, hateful comments like that from older people. It was how they were raised, and a sign of their times. You don't have to LIKE it, but you can at least understand why they are the way they are. The younger guy with the kid making those comments scared me worst of all, I think.

I can understand how people are adversely affected by their environment while growing up...but at some point when they enter the real world they are encumbered by a force called personal-fucking-responsibility. It adheres itself to your conscience, and your ingrained behaviors are slowly twisted and transformed by things like ideas, logic, morals, and ethics. Or is wisdom a farce?
