the Hoff is a fucking Jedi.

And the morning's course of reading.

When the summer is over, we will have increased our debt to China, increased our transfer of wealth to Saudi Arabia and increased our contribution to global warming for our kids to inherit. - Snip.

But that's a miniscule speck in the big picture of things...the end of humanity, life, the planet, sun, the solar system, the galaxy, matter, antimatter, and pretty much fucking everything.

In the meantime, they're working on moving the earth wherever they see it fit.

So our atmospheric temperatures will sustain life long enough for our society to eventually find our collective avenue to zombiedom.

I'm trying to talk my boss into purchasing us some "phototherapeutic lighting" for here in the basement operations center. It could only help, right!

Great. The end of everything, Now I want to curl up in a corner and rock back and forth.

On a brighter note (see what I did there?), these guys have some cool ideas. Not sure if you can swing it for your dungeon.

Those are actually sell-able to my directors. The only complication would be the brick courtyard that is directly over our heads, how how unaesthetic the 'capture domes' would be.

Gotta admit though, those virtual skylight/windows are pretty sweet. I tried convincing my boss that $1,800 for a 16 square foot skylight into space was a bargain. He agreed, but I don't see it happening though! :)

Let me know how that works out. The Solatube thing seems like a great idea, but I have never seen one up close.

I can barely get it together to plan what I'm doing next week, let alone how to plan for the next billion years. :P

Take heart. We'll all be dead looooong before any of that crap happens. Look into DNA telomeres sometimes, and the Hayflick limit. All the healthy living and improved medical sciences in the world won't do us a lick of good in the long term if we don't find a way to fix our own inherently flawed DNA. TAKE THAT, DARWIN!
