Jan. 22nd, 2008 03:44 pmGrrr. I decided today to buy one of two soundtracks I've been wanting...Sunshine - OST or 28 Weeks Later - OST...
And apparently the release of the first has been delayed (indefinitely?) due to legal problems between the parties involved, and the latter is iTunes exclusive.
Sonsofbitches.
*mental note* - 2 12mm sockets - 4 washers - 3.5" SS sockethead bolts.

I could go on, but you can see how truly great Apple really is. And iTunes. And iPhone. And all iCrap.
I have a PC.

Date: 2008-01-24 02:38 pm (UTC)So what are the alternatives I just asked myself (before having to retype this entire post due to a browser Hari Kari). I've resoluted this new year to start paying for more music...
Rhapsody...yeah...I'll see what Rhapsody has to offer.
10 PRINT "Your system has been infected by Malware."
20 GOTO 10
RUN
What the bloody fuck? With a google I found this:
http://real.lithium.com/real/board/message?board.id=InstallingRhapsody&thread.id=27497
It looks like I won't be subscribing to Rhapsody any time soon.
Amazon? Not bad, not bad. I've bought a couple of albums from Amazon with no complaints, but there are albums I've wanted that I can't get through them. There are albums released within the past year that I've WANTED TO BUY digitally that AREN'T AVAILABLE, but within two minutes I have managed to start the illegal download.
www.mp3.com (powered by Cnet!) lets me stream a lot of things that I'd like to buy. ...For free even, so I'm not unappreciative of that as long as I want to limit my listening by the leash I'm tied to my browser with.
How the fuck does www.gomusic.ru have music that I can't get on Amazon or iTunes? In Soviet Russia, music downloads you.
I've finished complaining, but I never considered why the WILLING consumer would resort to illegal filesharing before now.
