This is velly intervesting.

Also, I've got some music stuff up for sale on Ebay. I'll likely be adding some more cd's and possibly some dvd's as soon as I weed out more crap that I'll never play again so that I can buy other appealing crap that I really don't need.

"Barry Schwartz is an American psychologist and sociology professor at Swarthmore College. He is also the author of 'The Paradox of Choice: Why More Is Less' and 'The Costs of Living: How Market Freedom Erodes the Best Things in Life'."

He's selling a book. So do you buy the book in lieu of opportunity costs from not spending that $15-$20 on wine, women, and/or song? The ever growing opportunity costs in my life are going to drive me to an affluenzic binge. I'll likely never be the same.

Very interesting indeed. He seems like a smart cookie though I'll need to cross examine everything he is saying with every other speaker, teacher and philosopher on the planet. But I don't have time for that. Fuck it, I'm just going to go eat, start a fight and then fuck someone.

I just ordered his book "The Paradox of Choice: Why More Is Less". Might be a good read over Xmas.

YODDLES! Did I tell you I read Schwartz's book "The Paradox of Choice" over Xmas? Good read, a lot to think about...especially if you you're near the end of your rope from trying to keep up. The first couple chapters left me wondering what the hell is point was, he kind of staggered there, but the rest of the book was A++!
