I like to see, hear, or read about the things that people get for Christmas. But no one talks about it, as if people think that others will perceive them to be a materialistic shithead or something if they do. I know that Christmas isn't about the gifts, and that it should be about god, family, peace, love, and other bullshit, but didn't anyone score anything cool?

I'm envious. I was showing it to my brother in the bookstore and (trying) to tell him how cool it is. He just looked at me like I was a bouncing monkey slathered in a mix of its own shit and (monkey)chow.

That thing is HUGE! When I saw it I thought, "I must have this!" But then I realized it WAS massive and since I have all the individual books that I would pass rather than have something that large to move around.

Nice! I only had eleven days off, no thanks to christmas eve being on a Saturday. But I still managed to get a bit drunk a few times.

So far I got the iPod. Which I am totally in love with.

I'm quite the techno-illiterate and I didn't realize I can store photos on it. Now I have a portable portfoilo with me as well as a jukebox.

Along with the collection of CDs (including James Blunt, Jamie Cullum, Grey's Anatomy, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown) and DVDs (including Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Elektra) that I got, I now also have an external hard drive for backing up purposes, a soft fuzzy incredibly warm green blanket to curl up under while watching movies, and a trip to Disneyland (taken with my parents for three days after Christmas).

What book? How will you spend the loot? (If it's any of my business.)

The book is a collection of writing by Carl Jung on dreams. I was going to spend the $ on some gloves to use when I am lifting weights and on an arm band to hold my iPod when I am running. However, I've spent most of the $ on groceries and the dvd "The Royal Tenenbaums" that was $10 at Best Buy.

I gave Adam the Logitech g15 gamer Keyboard. It is quite awesome.

I, on the other hand, got nothing of interest.

My wife bought me this book which I've wanted or been searching for close to ten years.

My in-laws gave me The Incredibles on DVD and $.

Yup. Other stuff too, them's the highlights.

(For an equally appropriate question, check my journal.)
