Dark Elf books rock.
Now just read:
The Legacy
Starless Nights
Siege of Darkness
Passage to Dawn
The Silent Blade
Spine of the World
Servant of the Shard
Sea of Swords
Thousand Orcs
The Lone Drow
The Two Swords (I'm still trying to track this one down)
Promise of the Witch King (just came out in October)
....and you'll be caught up to me. :)
I reread Thousand Orcs and Lone Drow this summer...I also read the entire War of the Spider Queen series (6 books), the new Harry Potter book, and uhh....I think that's it :)

Which of those do you own? I may borrow a few. Also, what is the best chronological order? I've got a list, but it's vague.

Silent Blade onto the ones I state I'm missing. I used to have 'em all, but with all the moving around I've been doing the past few years, some of the older ones have been lost. Just gimme a ring if you want to borrow one, it's no prob. A few are still in my car, the rest are in my storage unit, but there's not much left in there, so it shouldn't be any trouble to find them. With the exception of the first four (I'm not sure if those are the right order or not), that should be a chronological list from a reader's perspective.

I'd like these please:

The Legacy
Starless Nights
Siege of Darkness
Passage to Dawn
The Silent Blade
Spine of the World
Servant of the Shard

I'll probably buy the Hunter's Blade trilogy. I already have The Thousand Orcs.

I, Kristin Dean, have read almost all of these dark elf thingies. It is true. Also, I would like to add that my junior high boyfriend, whose name I can't remember at this time, lent me his dog eared copy of "Siege of Darkness," and though I had no clue what the shit was going on, nor had I ever read crap fantasy at that point, I still very much enjoyed it, going on to read every single RA Salvatore Forgotten Realms book, even the Cleric Quintet.

I really liked the Icewind Dale thingy, but with my new "book learnin" I would have to say that the dark elf trilogy thingy was probably better written. Also, have you read the whole "Daughter of the Drow" thingy? I don't think it's Salvatore, but... there're dark elves, and they fight, and it's awesome.

I am the biggest dork ever.

Then end.

I haven't read Daughter of the Drow. The only forgotten realms books I've read are the ones listed above. I've got a stack of Drizzt books that a friend loaned me, but I've also got a shelf full of Star Wars books to read and a few other books I'll drop into the queue here and there. The biggest dork ever doesn't have the slightest idea that he's the biggest dork ever, so you're exempted by the rule.
