I encountered this spider at eye-level as I was about to do pull-ups on the bar it was inhabiting.


So I stifled a school-girl yelp, censored the "HOLY FUCKING SHIT!" that my brain was thundering, and took some shots of it.

I had to view at least 100 pictures of spiders to identify that one, so you can imagine what kind of dreams I'll have to dread.

You know, usually a spider only bites you if it gets trapped under bed sheets or in your clothing. So check under your bed sheets before crawling in and your pajamas before putting them on. Also, try not to think of what could be lying in wait in the dark beneath your bed, oscillating its mouthparts in anticipation of your sleep...and its time to feast. Sweet dreams!
