May. 20th, 2003 12:27 pmI took tomorrow through Friday off from ISU to go fishing with my friend Damon. I'm leaving tonight after I get off work from the golf course and driving to Olney, Illinois. My friend Eddie is in Robinson, so I'm going to try to catch him over at Matt's sometime late in the week.
My sister's wedding went really well, and the reception was spent dancing, drinking, and talking. It was really nice seeing my ex-stepdad's family since I don't get to see them that often, and Jeanne was a fabulous date. I had forgotten how much fun wedding receptions are. This was a reminder of the great people I have in my life.

My stepdad Charley and I caught in a Kodak moment.

My sister - the beautiful bride and I.

Doober and I before she went home. One of us is hungover miserably.

Re:
Date: 2003-05-24 12:58 pm (UTC)I think Animositisomina is great, but I start the album with the second song and pretend that the first song (Animosity) isn't even there. I'm not even sure why I don't care for it, but it sounds like something from Psalm 69 actually. Anyhow, the record is neat and keen, Surprisingly, they even included lyrics in the inlay so you can understand what the hell Al is saying at any given time.
If Ministry has held your attention with every album through Dark Side of the Spoon then I'd say that you'll like Animositisomina.

Date: 2003-05-25 09:37 am (UTC)the last ministry record i head was "Filth Pig"....i was a HUGE fan, and still am, of "The Mind id a Terrible Thing To Taste" in high school. I like about 1/2 of Psalm 69....after that I just wasn't feeling anything else they did. My interest has been pricked in this record because people with good musical taste, such as yourself, have said this record is good. I will indeed check it out further.
hahahahaha!
