After watching the film Ironweed on Bravo for almost three hours, I was called away for the last 15 minutes and missed the ending. If anyone has seen this and can remember what happens to conclude the story, could you e-mail me or post in a comment a brief summary? The last part I saw was when the character played by Tom Waits died in the hospital waiting room. You can even just make something up to pass the time if you like.

Tom Waits and his former friend have a duel in front of everyone. Then Tom Waits' mom accidentally drinks poisoned wine and dies, and Tom Waits kills his father. Then his opponent stabs Tom with a poisoned sword, and Tom grabs the poisoned sword and stabs him back. The opponent apologizes and dies. Tom Waits gives a speech and dies. Then Tom Waits' good friend gives a speech, and everybody left standing is sad.

You forgot about the part where the giant angry boars charged through the waiting room. They were in a large truck enroute to a seaside festival when the truck overturned. The boars, sensing the pain in the hospital, charged through the front doors in a wild frenzy. It only got worse when they ran though a medical supply cabinet dousing themselves in rubbing alcohol and catching on fire. Watching flaming boars run amok in a hospital is quite a sight. I recommend renting it if only for those last 15 minutes.

The best part is that all of that is happening while Tom is doing his poison sword dueling. The director is a genius.
