House of the Dead is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It's not even bad in a good way, and is unworthy of your time or money. (It's not as bad as The Howling VII, which is the movie that I hold all really bad movies in comparison to...for what it's worth.) It's bad. Got it?

Hellboy looks pretty nifty...although it might just be the Dimmu Borgir song in the trailer that does it for me.

I have a sore throat and sinus infection, didn't watch the superbowl, and had to come to work early tonight. That's all.

edit...
One other notable occurrence... My ma called earlier today and told me that my Uncle Max was in a plane crash this morning. Apparently, while the plane that he was a passenger of was taking off, the engines failed and it did a nose-dive to the ground. No one was hurt, but I would bet that it got their attention. Because I was asleep when she called I can't remember where this occured. Or maybe I dreamt the whole thing. It's a bit disturbing in how many daily results can be found by typing "plane crash" into the yahoo news search field. My cold medication needs entertainment.

It seems that I've been sick and tired all winter thus far. No complaints. I'm only being literal.

...gah. How on earth did The Howling manage to sustain itself as a franchise for seven films? You'd think that The Howling II: Your Sister Is a Werewolf would have killed it entirely. I'll have to check VII out sometime, purely out of morbid curiosity.

There were some really bad Howling films...and then there was....

(melodrama)

The HOWLING VII...you've gotta see it to believe it, and you've gotta remember to tell me what you think of it.

You must be very contagious. I just caught your cold from over 300 miles away :( As this means I will have to stay in and watch movies, do you have any more rental suggestions?

So far, my list includes renting Howling VII, Crossroads, Breakfast of Champions, and Iron Monkey.
