According to KNAC.com, about two weeks ago while gardening at his home, legendary metal vocalist Ronnie James Dio had a pretty bad accident. As something fell over in the garden, he apparently tried to catch it, and in doing so, his thumb was severed off. Doctors were able to re-attach it, and Dio is reportedly doing fine.
In an off-hand comment, Dio's garden-gnome was quoted as saying, "I TOLD that bitch to give me back my boots!"
