I had decided that with the money given to me from my family for my birthday I would take in another cat and cover the vet expenses. There's a male black cat that has been hanging around outside for a while that is very friendly and seems interested in moving in, but monkeybutt is strictly against the idea. While he has no problem with my neighbor Jarrod's female cat when he has brought it over, he wigged out when I brought the male into the apartment. I think that I'll try to find a female and see how he reacts. He's spending the night at the vet after getting his second set of vaccination shots and having his front claws removed. I hated to have to have him de-clawed, but if I get another cat then I can imagine them tangling assholes and one of them getting hurt. It's actually a lot quieter here with him gone since he tends to babble a lot.
I rode ten miles on my bicycle this evening, went grocery shopping, did a few sets of presses on my neighbor's bowflex, and then inhaled some tuna salad, cottage cheese, and raisins. I feel good...all James Brown-like and shit.
My dad remodelled his living room, and left his computer running in the adjoining room. He called me when it just suddenly started locking up upon Windows loading the desktop. The motherboard, drives, cards, and every system fan were a fuck-off mess of dirt, sawdust, and drywall dust. I've ordered a new motherboard for it after replacing the toasted agp fan and then the entire agp with a radeon 7000 (ghetto-fabulous) and running diagnostics like a muhfuh. Since it's on their tab, I'll replace parts until it functions if I have to rather than waste my short supply of spare time.
Queer Eye for the Straight Guy is on now. I need these guys to makeover my lifestyle so that I'll hate everything I'm wearing and surrounded by while gaining appeal to the opposite sex. Big pimpin.
