Happy Labor Day and stuff. I'm trying like hell to stay awake long enough to finish my work shift. The weekend, while exhausting, was full of good fun.
Matt and I ventured a total of 716 miles to be in Athens, Ohio at a somewhat-annual LAN party held among my online friends...of which was hosted this year by HighLearn. I put some pictures up here. In attendance were myself, Falseye, Highlearn, LinguaFranca, Guinness, Loki, MovieBrain, Fosters, HippyBait, and a few other friends and neighbors of Highlearn's. Oki showed up a day late and a dollar short, and although we missed him we still had a lot of fun.
The drive back to Terre Haute on Sunday night was much more expedient than the drive there on Friday. And though it rained, the continuing bad weather through Monday gave me the day off from the golf course. I spent Labor day with my family...watched a parade and helped my nephew get candy, had dinner at my grandparents house, got a few early birthday presents, worked on my dad's computer, and watched the American Chopper series marathon before returning back to my place to sleep for a couple of hours before work. I need more.
