There's No Joy in Mudville for Sammy Sosa. How do you accidentally step into the batter's box with a corked bat that you specifically reserve for batting practice and exhibition when you want to "put on a show"? When one of the seventy-seven bats that you carry is the key to the Hall of Shame, wouldn't you make certain that it has some type of distinguishable characteristic to prevent you from using it in a regulation game? Regardless of his intelligence or honesty, Sosa's baseball career accomplishments are marred and unreparable in mine and the eyes of many other baseball players and fans.
I drank too much Nesquik. A&E is finally showing new Third Watch episodes...or at least some from a season that I haven't seen three times, so my 2am entertainment has been rejuved. I also have a 1956 Fender Telecaster here at work to meddle with since one of the golf course regulars wanted me to take it home and play it for a while. It's easily worth several thousand dollars, but I think he just wanted someone to appreciate it. I've already put in 50 hours this work-week starting on Monday. I'm taking my lunch-break nap now.
