I'm so there. Well...not really. I'll be here at work, but I'll take a break from watching the war and the bravery of being out of range to catch it on an early AM showing.

My brother is in the hospital with pneumonia. Think good thoughts.

The first confirmed U.S. marine KIA was reported about an hour ago. (When I first wrote this post and it was eaten by MOTHERLESS LJ GOATS!!!) Think good thoughts.

I had a fun four day weekend in Nashville spent with Jeanne watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer, eating sushi (for the second time ever), going to a social gathering of friends, and celebrating her birthday.

We went to the zoo.

It was closed.

so we left and drank green beer.

I've returned to another workweek with little sleep, and self-awareness has perpetuated in regards to personal faults and relationship weaknesses. I'm optimistic and confident in my character, but self-analysis is never a bad thing. So far I've yet to uncover any unspeakable flaws, so I'll leave them unspoken. [Poll #115188]

Woohoo! The golf course manager just called and offered me the day off if I'll work a few hours on Sunday instead. I could use it. I've been purposely avoiding comfortable sitting so as not to fall asleep.
