I'm going to try to register for a class or classes in the morning. I wish I knew what I wanted to be when I grow up, but since I don't I'm going to retake a class that I got a D in after I stopped attending it about halfway through the semester. In doing so I'll raise my gpa and get back into the school routine with something familiar. I'm a bit nervous, but the things I would like to accomplish depend on an education and thus a higher appeal to the job market. Besides...kids do it. I'll be the old guy in class. Like

When I was a kid, my grandparents asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, and the family listened attentively for my answer. They all thought I was smart. I didn't want to be an astronaut, a deep sea diver, a doctor, a lawyer, or a paleontologist. I answered, "I want to be the guy who rides on the back of the garbage truck and pulls the lever that smashes the garbage." Not for the money of course, but for the love of it.
