This weather sucks. It's a good think I'm retiring my truck today.

Here's the view of the snow blanketed campus from my window. (either turn down the volume or callous your tolerance for a grating college sales-pitch.)

I live directly behind a Napa and I needed a snowbrush. I was a half hour late because some cigar-smoking jackass dominated 25 minutes of the single clerk's time while I sat behind him staring at the ceiling, holding an $8 snowbrush.

On the plus side, some kid parked in Lot 5 must have just gotten out of his exam, so I got a good parking spot.

Lot 5 is a faculty/staff lot isn't it? Rascally kids. After three years of parking in the exact same spot every night in Lot 3, the campus police posted a sign closing it at 7:30 to non-permit holders and ticketed me at 7:30am twice in one month (when I leave at 8am). Now I park on Larry Bird ave. The (lack-of)parking situation during the day is enough to drive one mad, so at least I'm lucky enough that I don't have to deal with it.

Yeah, Lot 5 is staff, but it's right outside the dorms, so it's basically half-filled with students at any given moment. The second closest lot to Erickson is 9, which is ALSO right behind a dorm and ALSO half-filled with students at any given moment. Public Safety has cheerfully informed us that we're desperate for students so we can't afford to piss them off students come first and we should show up 1+ hours early to get a spot that's less than 5 blocks away.

My job is officially over in February and thank god.

Seriously I haven't seen any snow here... aside maybe a few flakes... but nothing to really stay on the ground here, where i am... However when i went upto Houghton, the other week, i had my fill of snow...

HAHAHA sucks to your ass-mar!!! I live in the UP and don't have any snow... and you do!!! actually it's like 40degrees up here :D

It was nasty this morning, and although the snow has melted it is foggy as hell tonight...the kind of fog that makes your skin wet as you walk through it. I feel like the fucking weatherman.

Man that sucks to be you... haha i don't miss that kinda weather... great for bumming out an other wise good mood... had plenty of that kinda weather when i was at Mich. Tech... and i haven't had to put up with any of that recently.
