I'm at work on my night off checking e-mails, playing counter-strike, and basically killing time. It's hard to keep company on my days off when I'm up all night.
My sister and I went to the theater and saw "What Lies Beneath"...damn good flick. I wanted to see the X-Men movie but I couldn't sell her on it. I might go see it today or next weekend. It depends on if I can find someone to go with me.
I was up all night Friday drinking and watching Fight Club on dvd. I went to sleep at about six a.m. I awoke on my couch at 8 a.m. and got up to get a glass of water. I made it to the kitchen before passing out from a head-rush. I hit the floor HARD, cutting the back of my head. I couldn't see...my eyes were open but it was like looking at white noise. I felt my way toward my bedroom and fell down again in the hallway and hit my head on the wall...I couldn't keep my feet under me. I was a little drunk but no where near the level of intoxication that hinders walking. I was a bit shaken up when I finally made it to my bed and regained consciousness.
The same thing happened when I was around fourteen years old. I was at my dad's house sitting on the couch when I got up to go in the kitchen. My lights went out and I hit the floor. Is that strange?

X-men was good enough that I would go see it again by myself if I couldn't convince Sura to go with me... Then again, he wouldn't be that hard to convince... but still. It rocked. It really rocked.

As for the blackouts thing - that's happened to me before, maybe 3 times or so. I never went and got it checked out because I'm doctor-phobic (I hate that yearly checkup thing, only go because I need that prescription...) so I don't know if it's really serious or not, with me. I'd say if it started happening often, then get it looked at. But hey, what do I know? :)

I'm definitely going to see it either this week or over the weekend. I'm not co-dependant, but I'd rather not go alone.

If I blackout and never wake back up, I probably should have gone to the doctor =)

I'm going to the doctor. I have been lightheaded all evening.

Good! I'm glad someone is bright enough to take themselves to the doctor when there's something wrong, unlike other people I know...

[insert great amounts of frustrated and ongoing cursing here.]

I haven't been to a doctor in years. Last time I went was in 1995 for my Air Force ROTC physical. I have an appointment for 9:30 in the morning with a new doctor. =|

well, I still say at least you know when to actually go.

I just get to sit around watching someone be perpetually unwell, and I get to worry about them, and I know that there is stuff that can be done to help but he won't ask for help. And there's nothing I can do.
