grindmonkehLoki's weekend LAN party was a success. I got my box running in a somewhat stable manner on Thursday night, and Falseye and I left at around noon Friday after I got off of work and setup my dad's computer. It took us three hours to get to Peoria and find Loki's apartment...a really expedient road trip in comparison to the others we've had. We popped open a few beers, put his outdoor grill together, and set up our network. HighLearn, Lingua, Guiness, Hippy, Oki, Sura, and MovieBrain arrived over the course of the night in that order. We played games, had food and drinks, saw Men in Black II, and made fun of eachother. haaw haaw. I thought Men in Black II was bad. I slept through about fifteen minutes of it, and if I could have gotten more comfortable in the theater's seating I would have probably slept longer. We played more games, had more food, went swimming, had more beers, and the weekend was over in a short time. Most of the pictures I took are really bad, so I won't be uploading many.
We drove home listening to fucked up AM radio talk shows...Dream Land I think. I listened to Art Bell on the way to work tonight per Falseye's suggestion. The people that call in are truly fucked up...it's captivating.
I installed Windows XP on my computer yesterday. It's pretty.
