The week is almost over and it seems like I haven't done anything with it other than work and sleep. I guess a four day weekend allowing me a normal night-time routine will do that. Of course it had to rain on the days I took off too. There's nothing better than a thunderstorm while I have nothing exciting to do, but when I have made specific plans they almost never include rounding up the goddamn animals by the twos and equipping them with floaties. (ark humor. yeah. kill yourself.) My brother and I didn't get any fishing in, so instead we changed the spark plugs in my truck and set up the p.o.f.s. computer my dad has so that he can use the internet. We live in exciting times.

I scored a pretty healthy tan on Sunday afternoon while playing volleyball with the usual crew. That's the only day of exercise and nice weather I've indulged in all week. After we finished playing I drove down to Robinson and my brother and I rented The Man Who Wasn't There and a really (REALLY) bad Jean Clod Van Damn movie. I thought The Man Who Wasn't There was a great movie in Coen fashion...my brother wasn't sure what to make of it, but we agreed that we've seen better acting (and scripts) in infomercials than what we witnessed in the Jean Claude movie. Monday and Tuesday were a complete waste of time other than changing spark plugs and cursing my dad's computer.

Our dog was ran over and killed by a car three weeks ago, but I didn't find out until over the weekend. That dog used to HATE me for the longest time, and he could be a mean little bastard. We never could figure out why. After some time he softened up quite a bit and would even sleep with me when I'd stay there. He was chasing a cat across the road and didn't even know what hit him when he was killed. They just kept on driving. I'm glad I wasn't there.

I'm waiting for Dan's phonecall to go running. Waiting for Dan. Waiting for Dan. Waiting waiting waiting fro Dan.

We just got new p4's with flat panel displays. They're pretty not bad. I downloaded and burned Star Wars Starfighter yesterday. Bill bought a logitech digital wingman extreme for me at a garage sale for a dolla-fitty, so the two go hand in hand. I also got a brand new visiontek geforce 2 gts for dirt cheap...I'm selling my gf2 mx and almost covering its cost. A gts isn't a geforce 4, but I couldn't pass up the price and improvement over my card.

My next-door neighbor knocked on my door and asked me to turn down my music a couple of nights ago. That's the second time. I said, "sure, no problem. These walls are kind of thin, every time you slam your door my whole bedroom shakes." If he learns how to close his front door, I'll buy some dynamat and acoustically revise that wall with a couple of fashionably placed panels so that my music levels will continue to be adequate for the hearing impaired....ie. myself.

My dad graduates with his associate in science degree tonight. Go dad. I love it when he bitches about having to go to school and work a part-time job too. Tell me something I don't know something something I can use push the button connect the goddamn dots. So I'm going to his graduation and then over to my friend Damon's in Olney. Mother's Day is Sunday (don't frrrget) so we're having dinner at my grandparents'.

Where in the hillbilly hell is Dan?
