I ended that last entry when the phone rang, and went for a run down to Deming Park, around it, and back. That's over seven miles of pavement underfoot. The fat bastards that medically disqualified me from the air force rotc and pulled my scholarship can't carry my jock. It's a damn fine day, but I think I'l stay inside and relax. I've been busy doing things with people everyday for the past week. That has been a nice change.

Falseye came up for the weekend. I fixed his hard-drive problems and networked our pc's so that he could leech and try to play tony hawk pro skater 3 multiplayer...no such fucking luck on the latter. We went and saw Blade II. It's a good dose of vampire infested action. When we were leaving the theater we ran into a friend of mine from way back. He stopped by after he and his wife saw the Scorpion King and we sat around and caught up a bit before going out to shoot some pool. With some people you can pick up right where you left off regardless of the amount of time that has passed since your paths last crossed. Those are the best people to be around. He and his wife bought us round after round of beers while we shot pool. I was shooting pretty damn well after my typical ability was warped by alcohol. We hit IHOP and Falseye and I crashlanded at my place at close to 5 a.m.

The weather washed away our plans to play volleyball on Sunday for the second weekend in a row. Falseye went home, and Mike, Steph, Stacey, Joe, Tyrone, and I went to Bw3's later in the afternoon to throw darts. I was throwing lousy, so I coaxed Joe and Stacey over to the pool tables and spanked them. We went to Mike and Steph's for food and I cut out early to take a nap before work.

Jared and I went fishing on Monday at a gravel pit south of town on his friend's property. We fished for an hour and a half and hardly caught a buzz. We need to get a small boat to take out on the water there since its accessibility from the bank is too limited. We stopped in to talk to his friend and he was getting a tattoo of a vampire bite on his neck from Josh, the same guy who tattooed Jared. Wyatt, the guy getting the tattoo, was not liking the pain at all. It looked like it hurt a lot.

My brother brought my nephews up yesterday and we went to the mall to mess around before seeing a movie. The sign outside the theater said that Jason X started playing at 2, so we went to the chinese buffet and mealed. We killed more time and went back to the theater to see that it was still closed at 2. We looked inside and the times were different than the ones posted outside...no 2 o'clock show. It was a waste of time since the first show was at a quarter 'til five, but at least we got to spend time together. I took this coming Monday and Tuesday off of work to go fishing with him since he's on vacation too. I think the river is too high to get to our cabin, so I'm not sure where we'll go. Almost anywhere will be better than work. I need a change of scenery.

Jared just stopped by. We're going to relax on the patio and have a beer or two.

hey, if you go see Jason X not only do you get a great cheesy horror movie but you get the priviledge of seeing a trailer for the next "Halloween" flick. I need to see that one just to see exactly ho pathetic the series has become. Busta Rhymes vs. Michael Myers. No, really, i'm serious.

Hmmmm...you make it sound better than any of the Scream movies.
