I scored the new grisham. I have a steadily growing backlog of books to read. I reread a few works of Jack London today instead of finishing the King/Straub novel that I'm halfway through. I'm easily distracted. I don't know why I bother prioritizing or revelating things of no relevance, though it passes the time.

The telephone rang today and I didn't answer it. I don't know why, but I just let it ring. The caller didn't leave a message. I am definitely not crazy, but sometimes it is hard to feel normal sitting at a table dealing solitaire and waiting for other players who in turn feel it would be bothersome to interrupt the game.

I'm going running in a few minutes...something of a therapy, a small victory, or a pinch to confirm that I'm awake and alive.
