I think anyone who is actually concerned whether or not they are a moron is usually the last person on Earth who has to worry about whether or not they are a moron.
Then I guess at that point, thought experiment or no, you have to have faith in a universe that wouldn't let humanity be succeeded by a complete and total boob.
On another tack, even if they are a moron, they're simultaneously the smartest being alive, so they probably have nothing to worry about. ;)
If the last moron on earth was enlightened to the universal priority of precedenting humanity's ultimate fate with the existence of one last intelligent being, and this enlightenment now entitled him the role of the accomplished obsolete being, would all the current faith of every individual of all the world in this event have been a more worthwhile endeavor of hope than say that of a single moron?
