Dec. 8th, 2001 09:21 amThe following IT staff have been given new keys* to access the Library and the Systems offices. In addition to re-keying the building, the Library has recently installed a new security system that requires a code be entered on a keypad upon entrance to the Library in order to avoid engaging an alarm. The security system will be live 24/7. Therefore, the IT staff who access the Library through locked doors will need to attend training for operating the system.
Training is scheduled for Friday, December 14 at 11:00 and again at 1:30 in Library Room 028. Your staff can attend either session and leave after the basic training that will take only 15-20 minutes.
I must walk around with my mouth open too often. I have to come in at 11:00 or 1:30 that day for a fifteen minute training on how to use a code pad. That's not at all inconvenient.
