From todays staff meeting

Two things:

First...remove all games fron ISU computers. This does not apply to games that come with the Windows operating system such as soltaire, mine sweeper etc. It, therefore, does apply to anything that has been added, and Ms Toulson is quite serious about it.

Second...quit having so much fun in the hallways. I'm serious...its a complaint from someone...I'm not sure who. It was a general complaint and not directed at any of us individually , or as a group. Anyway...be aware of your demeanor in the hallways.

That is all ;-)

Mike

That means I need to bury Counter-Strike in a deeper directory and stop doing expressionistic modern dancing in front of the hallway cameras. All work and no play makes Homer something something.
Go crazy?
I think I will!!!!

Look for a program called Magic Folders.... hehehehe. Back in the day in HS we had Duke Nukem hidden with Magic Folders and each class had their own hiding place so there were about 7 different copies of the game on each terminal.

When I was in HS, we had Apple IIe's, and we liked them!
My senior year I got to use a ghetto Mac for a distance ed. calc class in U of I champoo-banana...and I liked it!

Kids and your newfangled gadgets.

Okay...this is totally random...but have you ever heard of a guy called Harvey Sid Fisher?
Me and my friends got a hold of his video tape and it's fucking terrible.
Terrible as in terrible and funny.
He sings all of the astrological signs while some chick in a really bad outfit does interpretive dance behind him.

Anyway, that's what your dance comment made me think of.

Other cult video tapes that are worth a looksee are Jesco White: The Dancing Outlaw, Amazing Delores and Unknown Hinson.

Hehehe. I didn't see that one coming. Really.

I've luckily got Bowie's Fame instead of that asstastic theme song in my head.

I have no legs...thanks for being so insensitive.

(on a completely different subject...I found a traveling Wilbury's CD this weekend at a pawn shop for 4 bucks!!! Volume One actually so if you were still planning on sending me a copy of yours, then you don't have to...although I'd still like Volume tres if you have it...please...please...please...)

I really do have legs. But I'm missing part of my left handed ring finger.

That's awesome that you found that. I thought about hitting the pawn shops too, but I haven't gotten around to it. I'll just send Vol. 3....the only burner I have access to is ruining every other cdr I try to burn, so it might be a couple of weeks before I can get that out.

That's cool, whenever you can do it is cool...if you want a copy of Volume One, I'd be happy to burn one for you...you know...to reciprocate that dadgum holiday spirit.

A co-worker/friend of my ripped the tape into wav's, cleaned them up, and burned it to a cd. It actually sounds pretty damn not bad.
