grindmonkehMy boss, upon entering the room this morning -
"The Traveling Wilburys!"
*nodding slowly* Ok.
He repeated, "The Traveling Wilburys."
Whaat?
He explained, "Yesterday when you were talking to Bill about bringing him a tape to rip and cd to borrow, I thought you said the Traveling MULBERRIES!"
GAH. So do you still not want to listen to that cd then?
"Yeah, I want to hear it - that's the band with Clapton, George Harrison, and Tom Petty"
I told you that yesterday, Mike. The three of us talked about it for a while. Only Clapton isn't in the band. It's Jeff Lynne, Orbison, Petty, Harrison, and Dylan.
"Oh...I think I was really involved with my crossword puzzle."
He cracks me the fuck up...we talked about it for over half an hour, and when I offered to let him borrow the cd he refused saying, "I don't have time for any new stuff." Bill is going to convert my Vol. 1 tape into wav's, clean it up, and burn it to cd. I have Vol. 3 on cd...since Harrison has passed and both albums are out of print they are going for a decent dollar on ebay. I'm going to ship a copy of each to HighLearn for his dad, and if anyone else happens to be interested I'll share as well.
