Aug. 29th, 2001 05:39 amYesterday was bleh. I went grocery shopping, finished Max Payne, had a couple of beers, watched Romeo Must Die, and slept. I bought Wonka a mouse toy that squeaks when you tap it or shake it and he seems to like it a lot. He also diverts some of his meowing at it instead of me now.
I was online for five minutes before my mom called and it killed my connection. That's never happened before. I talked to her about the coming weekend's plans and then Alex stopped by for a minute. Before he left he asked if he could use my computer to check his e-mail on yahoo. I said sure, fed the cat, and did a few chores before I looked in again and saw he was in a yahoo chat room trying to get women to talk to him. These are the kinds of people who I don't trust to use my computer without supervision, as anal retentive as that sounds.
Ex: My brother had his computer for a month, and asked if I would help him set some programs up. He had links to celebrity nudes, free nude blondes, etc. etc. plastered all over his desktop, start menu, and browser.
Apparently, things like that just 'appear' there and I just haven't been lucky enough to win those features. blah, blah...I'm finished bitching. oki had problems with his roommate about this, and it seems that when someone inexperienced uses another person's computer, they generally don't care or know about what they are doing. I'm really finished bitching this time. All over a ten minute yahoo chat session...this is how lame my day was.
The road, it's home, the mountain high, river low...
Wake me, please wake me,
When it's my turn to drive.
