grindmonkehI made plans yesterday to have lunch with Sarah sometime today. Her telephone call surprised me since I haven't talked to her in over a month or so. The ups shipment tracker shows that my 19" monitor will be delivered today...mmmmmm...trinitron. I'm going to hell soon...computer geek HELL. If I could lounge by a pool for an hour my agenda would be fine tuned...I actually have a decent tan started.

The weekend was without a dull moment. Mike, Steph, Tyrone, Allen, and I went to the party on Saturday night. It wasn't that great, but the night was worthwhile and spent in good company. We played volleyball all afternoon on Sunday. Our new neighbors Terry and Bianca joined us for the game and a postgame pitch-in cookout. The new social atmosphere of my new apartment complex is a much needed improvement from the last year spent in my old place. I should have moved earlier this year when my lease was up in January.
Joe and I ran to Wal-Mart to grocery shop and pick up a few things for the occasion. Those bastards have discontinued carrying a main staple of my diet...Oriental velvet corn and moo goo mushroom instant soups. I hope I can find someplace else that carries them or my simple diet will become even simpler. I ended up buying more food for my cat than for myself. He was pissed because I ran out of the stuff he likes on Friday and was left with the dry food to eat. I'm a pushover...I bought him all kinds of different canned soft food to try. I put some in his dish and watched him inhale it.
