grindmonkehI sat down at my computer at about three o'clock this afternoon, got bored, and kicked back on my bed to talk to Wonkey. I awoke about four hours later to my sister poking my foot and my glasses underneath my leg. I think she said something about Charley (her dad, my ex-stepdad) coming up as I put my glasses and the popped out lens on my night stand and fell back asleep.
I was walking yesterday morning just as the sun was coming up and I noticed a star or planet still distant and bright in the sky. I wondered about the university observatory hours and wandered to the science building. There weren't any hours posted...I tried the doors. They were unlocked so I went in and looked around. I followed the signs indicating the way to the observatory to the third floor and found a locked door leading to the roof. Observatory open 8pm-10pm...changes may be made due to conditions. I pulled out my magical keys and on the second try opened the door and stepped out onto the roof. I would love to be able to go there to relax...rooftops are great. The only problem is with uh being arrested and um...losing my job. ...so...yeah...I guess that's not remotely a good idea at all. Some night when I'm bored (between 8pm-10pm...changes may be made due to conditions) I'll have to check out the observatory and marvel at the universe.
