We spent a couple of days last week in St. Louis to take in a baseball game and to check out the City Museum. After it quit raining, the game was a blast. The City Museum is a lot less than a museum than it is a metal-sculptor's crazy dream.

A couple stories down.

The coolest jungle-gym I've ever seen played on.

Two weekends ago I went with Damon, Kenny and Devin to the Mayhem festival in Indy. Slayer's live show never disappoints. I saw a lot of other bands both good and bad too. Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, and surprisingly Killswitch Engage were all awesome. Bullet for My Valentine have taken some decent musicianship and blended it with enough radio-friendliness had all the teenage girls singing along and smiling...before holding their ears and looking a bit uncomfortable when Slayer took over.

On another note, this trailer for the "WoW-killing" Star Wars MMO is incredible...

The city museum is probably my favorite part of St Louis. Have they opened the roof yet?

Yeah! It's neato-faneato.

I'll edit this post in a second and add some photos.

I always like at least half of every Behemoth record. I like about 3/4 of this one. I'll be buying it which is something I don't do very often lately.

I'm really anxious to hear it. What else can you recommend of late?
