When I saw Rachel Ray on a television commercial last night the Muppet Show theme song tried to play in my head. I couldn't come up with it (age, alchohol, ginkgo biloba deficiency?) so I had to yagoohoogle it and post if for posterity.

From this post forth, Rachel Ray on the tele will successfully invoke the fitting mental accompaniment.

I'm making a Christmas list out so my wife will know what to get me. I'm tough to shop for. So far I've got this:

(Older PC games that I never got a chance to play that they're practically giving away now...)
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic - PC Game

Vampire: The Masquerade- Bloodlines

Call of Cthulu: Dark Corners of the Earth - PC Game

Thief 3 - Deadly Shadows - PC Game

Tribes Vengeance - PC Game

(magazines, star wars, etc.)
A GuitarWorld Magazine Subscription

A PC Gamer magazine subscription

The Orc King - R. A. Salvatore

Star Wars: Episodes I - III Slipcased Graphic Novel Set

The Star Wars Vault

Star Wars "Circus" posters

What's on your list? I like to know these things.

Here's an early gift for everyone.

(Edit: Doh...I left a list of songs/albums I was going to gather up at the to of this post. Deleted.)

Mostly just the "Futurama" movie, and some other dvds. Nobody has asked me at all this year, so I suppose this means I'll be getting lots of clothes and/or stuff for the house. Ah well.

I love your Christmas list. It reads like you're 11. ;)

I did mean that in the BEST possible way.

Thanks for the game!

Haha! Thanks!

Of course it's supposed to read like an 11 year old's. I buy all the boring shit the rest of the year...I want to open fun stuff under the tree, not socks, underwear, and bullshit. =)

Since I know you have steam, orange box is 50 bones, but it's got hl2 ep 1, ep2, portal, and tf2. Portal is almost worth that by itself.

I would dodge Tribes Vengeance tbh.

Oh, and of course you can pick up the first roller coaster tycoon for like $.08 at any gas station, walmart or bestbuy. Still worth it.

BTW, do you know a simple free program I can use to convert .wma files to MP3?

I've never tried it...I found this with a google search though.

I'm using it to convert Anthrax - Vol. 8 from wma to mp3 now.

Thnx - I downloaded a couple that I could never get to work right. Then again, it's more than likely a problem with me than the program.

I'll wait until the Orange Box is cheaper. Ep2 + Portal = 4 hours of entertainment. TF2 is potentially endless fun...but again I can wait until the price drops.

I thought about picking up Railroad or Roller Coaster Tycoon actually. I had heard some good things about the Tribes game...but I'll take your advice and scratch that one.

Vol. 8 converted successfully. Since the quality of the wma files was shite anyhow, I don't know if it changed the quality when it converted them to mp3.

You used the term "records". Codge! Lemme know if you can ascertain a difference in quality.

Friends don't let friends convert music into wma format.

Listening to Wiseblood by COC that I just converted. I think I hear a bit of a difference but I'm not hooked up to my better speakers. We'll see. Converting an old Suicidal Tendencies record that sounds awesome, that will be the real test.

Honestly, as much as I love the Muppet Show, can it get stuck in your head as badly as this one can?

Oh the Muppet Show theme isn't nearly as catchy...but Rachel Ray reminds me more of the Muppet Show than Fraggle Rock for whatever reason.
