I've had milder hangovers from alcohol. I haven't been sleeping well lateley so I thought I'd try an over-the-counter solution. Well it succeeded in knocking me the fuck out, but my mind is low and slow and not at all refreshed from the slumber. No more of those, thanks. What's your favorite nightcap? Mine may be the Twilight Zone and Jack.

I can still nap well at work...


I once told my boss that I was going to sell my bed and put a computer chair just like this one in its place so that I could sleep better at home.

If I think I'm going to have a hard time sleeping, I just take 1 Tylenol PM. Any more than that I wake up with nervous jitters or something. 1 makes me just drowsy enough to doze off. Though there was this other sleeping pill I took a couple times and I wish I knew what it was cuz it completely knocked me out and I still felt great the next day.

In a poker book I was reading, they had a term called 'fading the white line' to describe that sleepy, middle-of-the-night driving as they went from poker game to poker game. That's what your picture reminded me of.

when i was in high school to get to sleep i'd make what i named the coma cocktail. here's the recipe.

COMA COCKTAIL
2 benedryl
2 melatonin
2 shots of nyquil

it always put me out within an hour or so. but i had really nasty insomnia, so try at your own risk.
