Books read...
Jan. 4th, 2010 03:53 pmThus far this year.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - J.K. Rowling.
I really tried to finish it in time to sneak it onto my 2009 list...but alas it begins anew. Classes start next week, so I've got time for another book or Left 4 Dead 2 before that happens. I have to go back to work tomorrow after having the last couple of weeks off.
Over the Holiday break I fixed my Jeep (tension pulley bearings) and had a new muffler put on it, and then had the job of replacing my mother-in-law's busted brake-line land in my driveway. That took all day New Year's Eve before we went to a party, and I was less than thrilled at the details of how I procured the job. Other than that I haven't been all that productive...I played through World of Goo, fixed my neighbors PC, and gained Holiday weight.
I didn't bother making any resolutions for the New Year, although I should lose some weight and drink less. Welcome to 2o1o. Are there monkeys, monoliths, and haywire computers in this one? I've never seen it.
