Dec. 19th, 2002 06:06 amThis workday has rated the highest bore on the bore-o-meter I've seen in months. The merrymakers suck.
I caught a matinee showing of The Two Towers yesterday. It was cooler than Arthur Fonzarelli in a tauntaun rodeo. There are a few things to nitpick over as far as plot integrity is concerned, but I couldn't imagine the movies done more magnificently in every other aspect. I'm wondering if the excluded scenes will be any from the book that I noticed were missing. When I left the theater it was pouring down rain, as it's supposed to do today as well. Rain is better than snow, and at least I'll either have a day off or an easy shift at the golf course. I'd like to enjoy spending time outside rather than dread the thought of the weather beyond my front door, but winter eventually passes as it tends to do. Sunday is my last day at the golf course for a couple of months, so I'll have too much time free time again during the week and then the weekends completely free to spend with Jeanne any time we want to make plans. I'll have the time to sleep more and jog too, but I won't have the extra cash to toss around. But alas...an income tax return lies just over the horizon. The pros definitely shadow the cons.
Wahaha...my boss is wearing another "white" shirt today. I think he must have washed something red with his white clothes because this is the second PINK shirt he's worn in a week. He just told me to shut up and leave him alone! I think he's taking us out for lunch today too as our Christmas gift. I'll have a free pizza of some size and tastymalasty orientation waiting on me when I get to work tonight from our department director as well. Free breakfast would be the makings of a hat trick.
