I got my fifth guitar on the Saturday of my birthday (the 7th). tasslehoff bought it from jennylee to sell to me since he knew that I wanted it, and he gave me a really nice price adjustment for my bday present. We went to my cabin, set up his drums, waited for falseye, and made a lot of noise while swigging beers and taking breaks at intervals to hit golf balls over/into the river. After two days of that, falseye had to go to work and tasslehoff and I drove back to Terre Haute, watched City by the Sea, and had beers and wings while watching Monday Night Football.



It's a Seagull 12-string spruce top that I fell in love with in Toronto two years ago while visiting suraklin and jennylee. My Gibson 6-string has and will suffer from neglect and abandonment for a good while. Thank you, Oki and Jenny Lee...it was the best (read: only) birthday present that I was given. I shouldn't say "only" since my Mom and GParents threw in to help me buy new contact lenses and lenses for my glasses...for which I'm grateful. But as far as presents go...
