I don't understand why everyone dreads Mondays. I see Mondays as a day of catharsis and rejuvenated momentum ...so I sleep in...and wander to work over three hours late. I like Mondays. Why don't people like Mondays?

Please cook your chicken thoroughly. I had dinner at my sister's on Friday night, and after about four bites into Shooked and Booked/Shaken and Baken chicken I turned on the light to see why it was chewy. (We were watching a movie and the light was low.) It was very not thoroughly cooked to say the least. Beegawk. Check please. I lost my appetite and thought I was going to boot in her living room, so I went home and wondered how painful death by salmonella can be. I saw an episode of the X-Files the other day where a sewer dwelling man-parasite was trying to reproduce by introducing flukes into the bodies of any sewer worker or insane FBI agent who happened to wander into its vicinity. The flukes would eventually grow to a rather healthy size and depart from their human host in an undesiring manner. So obviously I've been thinking way too much about parasites. Pay no mind. I think I could be content eating plantlife and townhouse crackers for a while though rather than meat.

I spent Saturday geeking over my upgrade to dsl while trying to download the world. I scored a new favorite album...Opeth - Blackwater Park. I have been neglecting the other dozen or so new albums I scored so that I can commit this one to memory. Anyhow, my stomach was still a little bleak and I was feeling socially inept so I stayed in all evening. I spent Sunday cleaning my apartment, doing dishes, boiling out my steamroller, and then playing darts with Mike and Steph. Stacey, Joe, a few others, and I watched the SuperBowl at Mike and Steph's place, but after too much food and a few beers I went home to sleep before the game was over. I didn't care about the outcome anyhow...New England won. Wonderful.

I was thinking about buying another guitar board like the one I already have since a few of the buttons on it are a bit jacked up. Both music stores in town have one in stock *USED* for $200. That's insane since I can get a new model for that price while that board was discontinued at least five years ago. So...I think I'm going to buy a new processor....or a Mesa/Boogie head and then a cabinet later...or a seymour duncan screamin' demon pickup...or a b.c. rich...or a black explorer (not a s.u.v.)...or trade in my acoustic and get another...I could do this all day.

I pulled another game ahead in the basketball pool. My blind luck at this game is amusing.

Mike and Steph really want to go too to see SoaD. I've seen them twice and they're good, but I REALLY want to see Clutch. I've tried unsuccessfully for the past six years to convert my friends into Clutch listeners. Patronize me...tell me you like them. It would really touch me down deep.......in my pants.
