Nov. 17th, 2000 04:30 amI'm taking a break from Counter-Striking with HighLearn, MehGawZor, Scout-Sniper, Zed, etc. etc. etc.
I hate it when my plastic fork melts. The heat from my Red Baron pizza pockets mangled the prongs and I had to break them off.
My weekend starts in a few hours and I don't have the slightest idea how I'll spend it. I have to go to a wedding on Sunday. Blech. I am best-man in Danny's wedding which is a few months away. I think if/when I get married I'll do everyone a favor by taking the money that I would have spent on the wedding to go someplace nice with my fiancee. No big ceremony, no stress, and no worrying about the dysfunctional intermingling of family members. I would be an ass not to attend my friends' weddings, so I'll just rant about it here.
I fell asleep watching 2001: A Space Odyssey yesterday, and woke up two hours later. I tried to go back to sleep but I couldn't. I thought reading might put me to sleep, but it didnt'. I read the entire Clive Barker Cabal novel again before I was tired enough for slumber. It's a pretty short book, but I would have rather had adequate rest. I wasn't in the mood to try to finish the Kubrick/Clarke (so called) masterpiece. Though the cinemetography is undeniably great, there is a lot of filler to snore through...er, I mean watch. What are you doing, Dave?
