Go to Amazon dawt kom and download Shooter Jennings and the Hierophant - Black Ribbons (for $5.00). Now.
Stephen King appears as Will o' the Wisp, a disc jockey narrating the album, who propels the story with dialogue about the end of free speech as we know it. This album is holy-hellerific and genre-defying. Toss one cup of Roger Waters, one cup of Jack White fuzz-riffing, one tablespoon of Eddie and the Cruisers (yeah, I went there), David Bowie's eyelashes, Josh Freese's left foot, Beck's canine teeth, an Atari 2600 (whole de-boned), Josh Homme's uvula (aaa-aaah), the Flash Gordon film soundtrack snapped in half (on vinyl),and a few Eric Clapton leads scraped from The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking all into a bucket, then have a few guys drinking cheap beer piss in it, and finally strap the bucket to a fucking rocket and shoot it at Jupiter's eye. That's what it sounds like.
The filet mignon just jumped off the broiler. I want to go riding but this weather blows.
